Component or VGA?
#1
Hi I was thinking about buying some component cables for my xbox to use with a 480p TV (nothing special) and was going to get some for my sisters as well to use on her 1080p (http://www.gom5.com/CEDIA.htm). Will they make much difference in picture quality compared to VGA?

Also will the quality in the cables matter with the picture/sound quality? I'm not sure whether to get these one's http://cgi.ebay.com.au/XBOX-Component-Ca...ld-XB-613-

Any help would be appreciated.

The VGA box actually converts a component signal I believe, so if you can do component do that. You will max get 1080i on Xbox1 but XBMC needs more ram to work properly at 1080i. 720p works great though

I bought one of these to enable 720p and the results are superb. Of course with this one you also need some component cables.
