hi guys,

so my problem is i have a big video database and i need more areas for my database

we have in a default setting
films, series, musik pictures, but i need more for animes, hentai, and more


is that currently available ?


i am using the database with mysql.

Open the video button, inside you'll see sources, there's no limit to the names or amount of source you can have. At this point you can link these individual sources with the front home page through favourites or smart playlists etc... (this has been talked about in the forums a lot). Some skins allow for more custom home screen buttons, or sub menus etc.. The default home page, under the movie button it shows all your listings in one flat file and utilizes the library for all the features Kodi brings to the table (the vidceo button = file mode and is really the maintenance function and was originally not meant to access the library features).

Once your libary is built you can from the home page sort your collection via the many parmeters, which includes all your personal interests.
