I am looking for a tool to transcode and sync my Kodi library to a non-jailbroken iOS device for off-line playback by Kodi. MediaMonkey provides the functionality I am looking for but it syncs to the iTunes library. As yet, I haven't found a way to change the destination folder or a way to get Kodi to source the iTunes library. Also MM knows nothing about Kodi so can't sync Kodi's watched status.
My Kodi library is on an NAS with a shared MySQL database. When at home every device can use that. For outside use I want to select files from that library to be transcoded and sync'ed to the iOS device. I need transcoding because my iPad's 128GB is no match for my NAS's 4TB. If I transcode my .flac music files to .aac I can at least fit all my audio files on the device.
Does anyone know of such a tool or add-on? If it will work with the Android version of Kodi as well, that would be even better.
