Uninstall and install kodi 16.1 instead. I cant get kodi 17 to reliably stay up and running on fire stick but kodi 16.1 works fine.

Yep you're right works absolutely fine much appreciated. Thinking of doing the same with the Atvf box now before I install loads of addons if 17 going to be so unreliable.
Does Kodi automatically update though, so I can switch this off and stay 16.1?

Strange, ... Krypton is working fine on all mine, and everyone I know has moved over to Krypton as well with no issues ....
(maybe a certain setting change, source, or program add-on, etc .;etc.;...?)
