One thing my 5-disc DVD player can do that the XBMC can't is shuffle titles (scenes) from a selection of dvd's.

I've figured out how to cue movies and shuffle entire movies, but XBMC doesn't seem to be able to look within the .vob files and get to each scene.

Has someone come up with a plugin that I could install?

current shuffle dvd's isn't properly supported in in libdvdnav. i don't even know what's specific about shuffle titles. I have dvd's that report themself to be shuffle titles, but they seem to play (even thou our library complains about it).

think i'd need a sample dvd that doesn't work to try to add support for it.

Thanks for responding. It would be great to have that feature. It's fun at parties to play random scene-after-scene of different movies.

That's interesting that some DVD's report as shuffle-able and some don't. I've never had a problem shuffling a DVD in my regular 5-disc changer.
