I recently upgraded my XBMC version to pre 2.1 and the version of AMT is 0.97.5

whatever my settings are, never am I able to stream a HD version of the trailer. the best quality I can get is "high", but never 480p or up. I also tried different trailers to make sure. but I guess they have an HD version of pirates of the caribbean online...

I also experimented with the screen resolution of XBMC. normally it's set to 720p, but I also tried "automatic".

would be great to get some info, because a good friend of mine has the exact same setup as me, uses a slighty older version of XBMC and AMT and IS actually able to watch HD streams.

HD trailers have never streamed over the web.

If you want to view 480p trailers either select download or download & save, otherwise if stream is selected it will drop down to the high quality.

Reason is I use DVDPlayer to play HD trailers and that doesn't support streaming.

why do you think dvdplayer doesn't support streaming? it should support it just fine.

Elupus, that's great if it does. It didn't work before with streaming only downloading first, but I'll test again.

It acts like it's playing, it mutes the navigation sounds, but never starts. The nav sounds don't come back until I hit stop on the remote.
