After updating to Kodi 16.1-RC3. I noticed the directional keys, menu keys (home, back etc) no longer work in Yatse, the same keys also do not function in the official Kodi remote app.
Anyone else having the same issue?
Nevermind I'm an idiot, apparently I needed to go into settings and allow control from other devices.. I guess the update reset that value or it's new. Either way I'm a dummy. Sorry!
