Win Windows 10 and Jarvis - SMB problem.
#1
Hello

Encountered a strange problem.
Kodi was working fine on Windows 7.
New Windows 10 install, new SSD disk. Same version of Kodi installed (Jarvis 16.0)

After first run scanning SMB Share was working OK.

During second run:

- Scanning SMB share takes forever.
- Logs swamped with:
13:26:51 T:2104 WARNING: XFILE::CWin32SMBDirectory::ConnectAndAuthenticate: Can't connect to "\\server\share" with username "user" and with password because of conflict of credential. Will try to close current connections.
13:26:57 T:2104 WARNING: Previous line repeats 2 times.
13:26:57 T:2104 WARNING: XFILE::CWin32SMBDirectory::ConnectAndAuthenticate: Can't connect to "\\server\share" with username "user" and with password. Error code: 1219

- Kodi hangs on exit.
- Process runs in Task Manager.

This SMB share is accessed with one working username/password, accessed from different KODI installs.

Re-Installing Kodi helps for 1 run. Rebooting PC does not help.

Deliting video library and importing old one does not help.

Share added as source only once, with one username/password.

Turns out, this behavior only occurs under certain circumstances

- SMB share added as a new source, using username and password.
- You are logged in using the same username and password
- Some folders added using this additional SMB share.

Right way:
- If you using the same workgroup or domain and the same username - password, do not add SMB source, use SMB browsing.

- If you use different set of credentials, and browsing is unavailable, use SMB source.

Windows in general does not allow SMB connections to the same server with differend credentials.
But why the same error occurs with the same credentials?
