# Feature Request - PVR LiveTV - Zap Timer

### Problem

If you watch live-tv a commercial break starts. You zap away to avoid seeing stupid commercials that make you angry. But you stuck on the new channel and you forget to zap back to the previously followed show/movie/series/documentation.

### Solution

Imagine you zap away as soon as the commercial break starts and kodi zaps back after a previously set amount of time. E.g. 7 Minutes (quite common commercial timeframe in germany).

### GUI

Here some thoughts on the GUI

#### General Plugin Settings

* Set zap back timeframe
* Set timeframe for notification window

#### Live-TV settings

* Add icon for zap back en- /disabeling with possiblity to change standard zap back timeframe
* Should be placed in the overview where Videosettings, Audiosettings, Recording and so on can be set. Don´t know how this frame is called.

#### Live-TV behavior

* n Seconds before the back zapping is invoked there should pop up a decent notification with a timer, that shows that the switch back is short to be done. It would be wise to have here the possibility to delay the back zapping by a selectable timeframe. If nothing is done here, the zapping is executed if the timer reaches 0 seconds.
