Started getting this error when I go to tune a channel. It usually works on the second attempt.

I have posted both logs

I have reinstalled both Kodi and ServerWMC. Still seeing this error several times a day. Any ideas what the problem might be. the logs.
The key errors seem to be in KOdi.

Can you post the beginning part of the serverwmc log so I can see how you have it configured?

Its strange, the timeout is happening in the main application thread, saying that the remux thread didn't start, however further down in the log I can see that the remux thread does eventually start. I don't know what the delay is due to. Unfortunately the amount of time it waits for the remux thread to start is hard coded. I will make this a setting so that you can adjust it, if nothing else that will help us debug. It will be in the next preview release.

In the meantime, you might try setting the remux thread to a higher priority in the OS, you can do that here:
<RemuxThreadPriority>AboveNormal</RemuxThreadPriority>

Change AboveNormal to Highest and see if the error goes away.

Will do. I have been using ServerWMC for quiote a while on the same machine. This is only a recent issue (last couple of months).Ian

Made the change but, unfortuantely, I am still getting the error message. Other than the pixalaiton problem I have being working on for months (which is not related to ServerWMC), ServerWMC has work flawlessly until a couple of months ago. I did a complete reinstall a couple of weeks to no avail.

This problem also occurs on my OpenElec box that is accessing the same copy of ServerWMC.
