I everyone,


Someone can help me for structured and named genre picture.

I have action.jpg that work only in poster view and i have action-fanart.jpg but don't show this picture.

On some forum i find extra/moviegenre/file.jpg and on other i find extra/video/icon/file.jpg or extra/movie/genre/file.jpg.
What is the correct folder struture?

Starting from Kodi 16, the only way to get the genre icons is by using the new image resource addons.
In the skin you have an option to select the genre icons.

You can also create your own image resource addon

If yes, just need to add my picture in an xbt files?

Or there is another options for this? like a folder name fanart?

You can either make a copy of an existing resource addon and modify that to include your own images or you can create your own image resource addon...

This resource addon is just an addon packaged around some image files.
Since Kodi 16 all artwork packs have been movied to these resource addons.

In skin settings --> general skin settings you can select which resource addon you wish to use.

Thank, that work in Aeon nox but not in Titan skin. May be not implemented or wrong ressource name!

OK, I'll take a look at it. It might be that I currently hardcoded the resource addons in the skin.
