I managed to salvage 4 out of 7 DOA Amlogic M8's using the USB method and an " *.img " file (which is different from the SD card method)!
Only problem is I cant find a current M8 " *.img " file (about 700+/- mb approx) with Kodi 15.2 and/or up! The M8's open up with a "Google TV" logo and have KODI 14.0!
Also as it stands the IR remote doesn't work, but a wired remote will!
Can anyone point me in the right direction for the latest M8 *.img file? thanks.
