Hi,
After the update to version 3.6.59 The "Movies" and "TV shows" don't appear anymore on my home layout.
what can I do about this?
I'm using Kodi 16.1 and the "Enhanced all-in-one homescreen" layout

Hmmm, it is very unlikely that a skin update causes those items to dissapear.
Offcourse you can add them back by using the skin settings --> configure menu shortcuts

they are configured in skin settings->menu shortcuts
they just don't appear in the home layout (the same thing happened on all my 3 computers)

You're the second one reporting this issue.
Hmmm, the skinshortcuts addon did update on the repo, maybe there's an error with that.
Just to confirm: You actually do have content in your library right ?

And I just found a solution :-)
If you change the default action of the shortcut it appears again
