I know you can change the background opacity from the colour picker under Background settings, Background overlay texture colour. However, that affects all views - can you customise it per view? For example, when music is playing full screen and it is displaying the artist slideshow it is hard to see so I'd like to prevent any transparency without affecting the other views. Is this possible?

The background overlay shouldnt be applied at all at fullscreen music playback. Maybe you enabled lyrics?

Nope, I don't even have the plugin. I did think it was odd that the slideshow used a dim background. Running the latest versions of everything.

The only other thing that appears is the artist name logo (top right I think). That is on by default.

Are you running the BETA skin version or the stable from Kodi repo ?
