You will need to post a Debug Log before anyone can help. Also try searching the forums for other users that have experienced that same issue. Might find a solution.

Did you install over your previous version of Kodi or did you delete all traces of Kodi and do a clean install?

I noticed the EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT), I searched for it and found this thread and the users log had a similar crash error. Take a look.

do either of you experience the crash when trying to launch Kodi in windowed mode?

I wonder if you guys have a corrupt database. Try removing all traces of Kodi on your mac and doing a clean install.

I initially did it over a previous version but when it wouldn't open I uninstalled it and put it back on but it's still carried on happening, I'll have a look at that thread thanks.

If you decide to do a clean install make sure you remove all the Kodi user files on your MAC. You will have to manually do this. If you simply uninstall it by tossing it in the bin, you won't be removing everything.

How do you do a clean install? I thought I had deleted the initial install of Kodi but when I try to re download Kodi I keep getting that the download is damaged and that I should uninstall it.
