So I'm using the Pi with an HDMI touch screen (no built in speakers), so I obviously can only play audio out of the jack. So of course the default setting is HDMI, and I'm trying to use the setting to switch Audio output device to the audio jack. So after searching for 2 hours, I finally found the stupid setting. Great, so I think I'm I out of the woods, I switch the setting to use the jack, but it will only work for the remainder of the song and then switch back to HDMI only! WTF? 
How do you lock the setting? This thing is useless to me if I have to go into a settings menu every time the song changes!
