I'm hoping a Python coder will take on this request...
It would be nice to have a script that can be run from the XBOX to grab new bits from a PC share and update itself. There is a script (http://2ndmind.net/xnetload/) that supposedly will do this but I have never been able to get it to work and the author is gone and will not respond to emails.
For someone that is decent at Python, or wants to learn this should not be too much work... especially if they use the current code as a baseline.
