Hi,
Last year, I followed this guide http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=174854 to setup a A6-6400K based kodi system. I could play smoothly any videos
I upgraded it to 15.04, struggled with systemd, but everything have been working fine for a year
Last week, I decided to upgrade to ubuntu 15.10 then to 16.04 (only changed team_xbmc ppa and some xinit permissions) and now I experience obvious choppy/jerky playback.
I could get better results by unchecking "Video->Playback->Sync playback to display"
And again better results by simply disabling VDPAU acceleration. Thought playback is still choppy from time to time.
Obvisously there is something wrong with video hardware acceleration but I've been unable to identify the issue. All seems good apart from this line in kodi.log which didnt lead me to anything :
Any idea on what could be wrong?
