Hi
Does anybody know if there is some way to use the newest version of the addon (from Kodi 17) with Kodi 16.
If there is ANY way to make this happen Pls let me know. Willing to do the workout, just need to learn.

There is a reasonable level of difference in the PVR API between Jarvis (v16) and Krypton (v17, currently in beta).
I don't know if the IPTV Simple Client uses the new v17 API features or not, but in any case it would need to be changed and re-compiled.
If you just want to run the newer client, you could try running a newer kodi as well (say from a nightly krypton build, or compile it yourself). Kodi Krypton beta isn't that unstable, although maybe not ready to leave installed unattended at your grandmother's house....
What operating system / distribution / hardware are you running kodi on?

In running it on Win 8.1.
The problem is that im getting a horrible picture quality during playback in v17. Im seeing these wierd lines on the screen.
But maybe that Will be Changed once its stable.

Assuming you are using 'iptvsimple' and not something shall we say 'less supported' on these forums, you will probably find someone who would be willing to help you investigate video playback issues in v17...
