What do you think about the Appolo Lake platform as a Kodi Box? It has the new gen9 Intel graphics (VP9. HEVC, 4K via on HDMI), low power consumption, passive cooling, certainly more power than the ARM

nice, was considering a m-itx build at one time but didn't want the chassis/hard drives all in the living room. Have that now with a NUC and a 4 bay USB enclosure, ghetto for sure, but meh, but I think it is time to either roll my own or get a COTS NAS, that is the next step that makes the most sense to me.
