Hi,

Yesterday i really noticed how much my life depends on Kodi when i decided to update my Kodi. I don't know what version i had before, but i'm guessing it was the first 'Kodi' after the namechange from XBMC to Kodi.

I updated by downloading the latest release, Jarvis 16.1, and overwriting my previous version. Since then it hasn't worked. When i start it (doesn't matter from which locaton, applications or desktop) it shows the splash screen for a couple of seconds and then immediately crashes.

I've also tried the beta and nightlty build, but both of them don't work either.

I have a Macbook Pro 13 early 2011, 2,3 Ghz i5, 8GB RAM and SSD for my OSX and applications. My OS X is El Capitan 10.11

Okay so it didn't really want to but went with the clean install (manually deleted all the userdata files), now it's working again and will spend the evening configuring the lot again .

Tried a new install but when I try to run it, I get a message that the file is corrupt - send it to trash.
