Yes sorry about this, we're working through the issue - hopefully fixed soon, but may take another day or two, I'll mention in the change notes when we think we have a solution!

I'm sorry, but unfortunately tvheadend.service still does not work. comes other errors:

It should be fixed already, likely the addon was build before the fix was pushed to the git. Next version build should work.

In version # 1212 + # 1213 gave the first error:
/storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tvheadend: error while loading shared libraries: libgnutls.so.30: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

In version #1214 is there another error:
/storage/.kodi/addons/service.tvheadend42/bin/tvheadend: error while loading shared libraries: libidn2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Config file is here: http://ix.io/17dm

What do you mean with Kernel log? Which file to post?
Thanks, but as you didn't provide the log from the settings add-on can you also provide journalctl -a | pastebinit. The log uploaded via the LibreELEC settings add-on is pretty much an all-in-one log.
 Sure, here you go: http://ix.io/1vYo
@ Millhouse, did you had a chance to check the log files or do you need additional information?

Sorry, missed your previous reply. Just checked it now and I can see various errors relating to your WiFi hardware - has WiFi on this RPi3 ever worked (with LibreELEC or any other distribution)? Does the WiFi work with these testbuilds without your "MemsArt MA144 RF Controller" connected?

Can you reboot, then immediately log in with ssh and run vcdbg log msg 2>&1 | pastebinit and then paste the link.

Yes, of yourse, first reply was "Empty reply from server", second is posted here: http://ix.io/1w38
But meanwhile I can start the raspi with raspian and check if WLAN is working, and there is no hardware issue.

@ Millhouse, thanks a lot you are pointing in the right direction, even with Raspian there is no Wifi, so I will check further independend from LibreELEC.
However, than you very much again for your support and for maintaining this great distribution, I gave a LibeELEC raspi to my family one year ago, an it is in use quite frequently, so thanks for all your work.

A clean installation of LibreELEC 8.2.5 (from img.gz) is known to have working out of the box WiFi on RPi 3B, so test that also (without any other devices attached to USB or GPIO) and if WiFi isn't working with LE 8.2.5 then I'd suspect a hardware failure (could possibly be power related, so try a new/different power supply too).

If your wifi is working with LE 8.2.5 but not current LE 9 test builds and the problem exists with Raspbian too, then it might be best to open an issue here:

https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues

Post the Raspbian dmesg output etc. on the issue, as it could be a kernel issue.

It's a team effort, but I'm glad you and your family enjoy it! Smile

I did some further testein, as I have 2 Raspi 3 B Rev 1.2 boards, on the one Wifi is working with my LibreELEC image as well as with Raspian, bit not on the other. There might be one year between the purchase of the two, so it might be related to firmware (not working on the older one). However, Wifi connection is way too slow (2-3 MB/sec), wo seems I will stay with WLAN repeater and LAN from WLAN Repeater to Raspi.
