@Milhouse

Can you please create an archive folder for 2018 in tvheadend download. Otherwise you have to search where is the current download.
Thank you in advance  Blush

Another thing would be to release the links for tvheadend also with the LE builds, It would save some mouse clicks.
Just an idea.

It's likely something I'll do once we're a few more months into 2019, but - and forgive me for asking as I know we've had this type of discussion before - what is wrong with sorting on either Filename or Date to determine the latest file?

Here is the MediaInfo report of a non-working MP4-file from DJI Osmo Pocket (none of the resolutions work, not only 50 fps):

And here the download Link to the clip:

The clips are playing but you only see color noise. If you switch off OMXPlayer and MMAL color noise is gone but the clip is playing extremely slow, so that you can't really watch it. Problem occurs also if I play the clip from usb stick, so it is no network problem.

Of course we can sort by date or filename but separate folder is more comfortable  Wink

I think the problem is the 4k format. RPi3 does not support 4k.

This is the problem. Pi's video hardware only supports up to 1920x1080.
You'll either need a different player to play these files, or set camera to record Full HD (1920x1080) if you want to play them on Pi.

Thats a 3840x2160p50 video - i.e. UHD/4K. The Pi doesn't support 4K video decoding.

You will need to convert this to 1080p50 (that is usually supported by Pis though may be technically out of spec) or 720p50, and at a more suitable bitrate (30Mbs or less)

You may find you can shoot HD rather than UHD/4K in your camera, but that may use pixel-binning to downconvert and deliver a lousy, aliasy image (jagged diagonals, fine vertical detail looking 'liney' or twinkling as it moves, and strange patterns appearing on repeated detail like tiled roofs etc.). Shooting 4K and downconverting may deliver higher quality results, as it will do a filtered downconvert rather than a pixel-bin.
PLEASE DELETE
Thank you Aux, noggin and popcornmix for clarification. Then I have to look for a different player as even my LG tv from 2016 is not able to play back 4K 50/60 fps.

Till then I will use 4K 25 fps, which my tv is able to display (and looks more cinematic ;-)) or downconvert. Last question, because I know that it's offtopic: Can you recommend a converting tool?

The file name of the sample is "DJI". With which DJI drone was the video recorded?
I fly with DJI Mavic Pro, I can select Full HD in the settings, then I do not need to convert the video later.

But if I convert something, then with Avidemux - is easy to understand and is free, open-source video editing and processing software.
