Kodi: Kodi 17-BETA7 Git:20161203 (from nkvoronov repository)
Errorlog: CreatePeripheral - libCEC support has not been compiled in, so the CEC adapter cannot be used.

Is there anything I can do, or do i have to wait for the next update?

Thank you. I guess I missread the wiki i was using. There were both PPA repos listed.
Got it running again from team-xbmc ppa.
