sorry if this question has been answered (should have been stickied), but i need to know of a temp fix or a permanent fix for when the a streaming video stops playing in the middle of playback especially with the youtube2 plugin.

other than that issues with streaming media dropping frames @ about 1048kb net video which is the amount closes to no buffer on my xbox.

xbox 1.6 default with a softmod
XBMC -12/3/07-
most recent youtube2 plugin
most recent everything else (too much time on my hands)

and one more thing that doesnt belong in this forum... so i dont have to make two post:

is there a way to make the cache setting a bit more limber as in increments lower than 256...(i think) like maybe 128 or even 64...

when you say "stops playing" do you mean it literally just cuts off and returns to the UI, or does it simply pause and begin buffering?
as to the second question, it seems like it would be a relatively minor change, but why do you feel this is neccessary?
