Here is what upgraded to: "Dark base pro 900"
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H6J...UTF8&psc=1

Here are my issues:
Performance is fine, size/space was issue with small box and fat fingers. So now I have 1 more slot for hard drive (and could expand 1-2 more) but no more SATA slots with current hardware...Didn't realize it till swapped hardware from old case to new Dark base pro 900 case. As it stands it is just really a case swap but now I was thinking of adding another hard drive.

1) Since I am using the PCI slot for add on card with 2 SATA connections do PCI add-on cards with 4 SATA connections exist?
2) I previously had only 2 fans in old case, now I have 3 fans with option for MANY more but I am limited on motherboard with fan pin connectors for just 2? upgrade motherboard? other options?
3) If upgrade then what parts can transfer over vs what would need upgrading? I would prefer to NOT upgrade motherboard/cpu/ram given performance was perfectly fine.
4) Really looking to make more fans work and add 1 more hard drive with option for 1-2 more down road...

Appreciate all advice....

Go team "Kodi kicks ass"!

Hi skyking376,

just going to answer some of your questions to the best of my knowledge. Then I'm hitting the sack!

1) PCI? Not sure. PCIe, yes. ie. This 4-port SATA expansion PCIe card http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/578
2) If you have spare power cables that can be used, get an adapter for the 3rd fan and plug it directly. Of course, this will negate fan control via motherboard
3) If my answers to your questions 1 and 2 work for you, no need to upgrade anything
4) Adapters are your friend. They cost very little. ~$2 or less

Regards,

me.
