Fixed. I forgot about that horrid device.

Have you tested it yet? My Nexus Player has not updated yet.

It finally showed up on my Shield this morning. Looks pretty cool so far.

1. Ability to record to mounted NAS location
2. Ability to extract recordings, especially copy-free OTA stuff (recordings are hidden somewhere in the root system)
Looks like I can almost eBay off my TiVo now.

Though it requires at least 50GB of internal (or adopted) storage to use the DVR feature. Not a issue on my Pro, but on one of my 16GB Shields that only has 32GB adopted storage it means I'll have to update to a larger SD Card or SSD. That doesn't affect timeshifting though, which still works even with less storage.(2017-02-17, 19:16)cscoppa Wrote: It finally showed up on my Shield this morning. I wouldn't care so much about being able to copy OTA recorded files, but a feature I do hope they add is being able to access recorded video from multiple devices (Whole Home DVR).
Unfortunately, it's still not a replacement for my TVHeadEnd backend, but at least it's getting closer.
