Helly, yesterday I have installed Kodi 17 RC3 and I am having a problem with adjust display refresh rate on start/stop option.

I have set the resolution on kodi to 1080p and watching 720p or 1080p content it adjusts the refresh rate to 2160p.
I want to let my tv do the upscale, not kodi.

I beleive this was working properly on previous versions, it was only adjustint the resolution watching 2160p content but I am not sure.

My htpc configuration:
Tower: LC Power Mini
Board: ASRock J3455-ITX
RAM: Low Voltage 4Gb Crucial 1600Mhz CAS 11
Storage: Kingston 120Gb SDD
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits.

Refresh rate doesn't not equal resolution.

Hello Hitcher.

This is the first time I am using this function because before my old htpc board (asrock q1900-itx) only output 1080p.
This one has 4k@ 60hz.

I found this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=241359 when I was looking for solutions because I was not happy with the quality of the video output (was worse then before on my asrock q1900-itx) watching 720p or 1080p content.

So if I am not using the right option on kodi, please let me know if it`s possible to achive what I said.

First of all please update GPU driver, iirc Intel driver has/had an issue switching to 2160p instead of 1080p at 23.976 refreshrate

provide a Debug Log also.

This also happens to me on any version of Kodi 17. I'm just using 16.1 now.
