Oh, SNAP! Kodi 17.1 doesn't work on Raspberry Pi 2
#1
Kodi 17.1 menu functions are messed up. When I select Movies or TV Shows from the main menu, it does not list the movies. Instead, it takes me to the Videos sub-menu. The only way I can play a movie is to select Files then the movie source and work my way down to a specific file.

I really need to back up to Kodi 16.0 which was working fine - unless someone has a fix for this.

Did you update to 17 or copy a backup of your userdata to the RPi?

I ran into this on myself on Android when trying to restore my setup. You'll need to delete your userdata then add your library again (not from a backup).

I would suggest doing a fresh install.
