Linux Single frame video playback
#1
I ripped some test patterns from a Blu-Ray, in order to calibrate my TV's Kodi input. They are H.264 in MKV wrapper, each one is a single frame duration. When I try to play these in Kodi (v17), the screen flashes for a moment and then goes back to the playlist. How can I make it pause on the first frame?

Another interesting thing: when I try to play these, it asks me what playback mode to use. These are monoscopic files, and I don't have any 3D hardware. I've never noticed this happening with any other MKV files.

Alternatively, how can I make a video pause on the last frame instead of exiting back to the menu?

Press pause very quickly?
