Hi,

Kody 17 has made rewinding works better up to 8x. At 16x and 32x, when I rewind, the video just freeze. Fast forwarding works really good. Is it a bug with rewinding or is my system not fast enough to handle rewinding at 16x and 32x?
I am using Kodi 17 on windows 10 pro.

rw can still be improved. the problem with rw ist that you can't decode in reverse direction. means we have to seek back, then decode forward. every time the difference between clock and video pts get over a given threshold, player seeks back. if that happens before decoder has produced a new picture, you observe a "freeze".

not sure, maybe I have already improved this in my dev branch for v18.
