Hardware i5 2500k 4gb ram 265gb ssd
Software Win. 8.1 with all updates. kodi new. tinymedia manager new installed, all java updates. Files on an extern Hdisc.

Seems like you were pressing play on a movie without videofile? (which should not happen)
Does this file have any videos in mediafiles tab?
