Most of your errors are network timeouts, other than mirrors or bandwidth issues there's really no hint as to what the slow down is (check with some desktop monitor to see what bottle necks you have, and limits to onboard resources). Might be a better option to download the zip directly and install from zip. Looking at the specs of your GPU and they come up a bit short IMHO: The Intel is basically as powerful as a Radeon HD 5450 desktop video card which other users have found as a challenge. Comparing it with my 8 year old design http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-5770-v...n-3000-IGP and hopefully you can get the picture.

Those Raspberry Pi 3's look better every day.

thanks for the response - but i didn't have any problems with this machine when running Kodi Jarvis - crashes only started when i "upgraded" to Krypton.
I've loaded a Linux partition on the machine and Krypton works fine on that so i don't think its a performance issue . Anyway i'll just stick to Kodi Krypton on Linux from now on

Yes; no question Kodi runs sweetly from a Linux install, while windows puts up quite the fight and is 60% less efficient. Given your set-up; Linux is the solve.
