Is it possible to have access to samba shares that are mounted in android download app (DocumentsUI) by the android samba client?

I have a Sony ATV 2017 running android 7.0 and i know that kodi have an own samba client, but there are some issues with video and audio passthrough playback on android TVs (link and link)
So I want to open the video files in the Sony player via the playercorefactory.xml.
