I have always wunder: Does the Nvidia version graphics make any difference in Kodi in terms of stability/and how well/good the video/audio plays? Regarding 1080p files H264 and VC-1 + Wasapi audio 5.1

I ask because sometimes I have to reinstall windows for some reason, and I want to keep my stable Kodi version, and cant remember wich version of Nvidia Drivers was isntalled at the time, so just wanted to ask if Nvidia Drivers does anything in Kodi that could be different from one version over the other....

My primary kodi windows HTPC has Windows 7 SP1, Nvidia Geforce GT 720 graphics card, Intel Core2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz, 4GB ram, 120gb SSD. Running Kodi 16.1 for most times and testing the new 17.4 also sometimes..

As far as I have experienced, no. Just install the latest driver. Nvidia drivers won't change that much over time as far as HTPC video viewing is concerned. Once it works, it's fine.
The GT720 should work okay with both the legacy and the newer video drivers.
