I just installed a fresh raspbian stretch lite on my rpi 2. Right after I installed kodi 18. When I want to install an addon it downloads but kodi hangs at "installing 0%". I tried it now with the youtube addon and twitch. Both show the same error.

Never had these problems before with kodi 17.

That is not a log. That is only a selected part of a Kodi log. Just like it is in your opening post.

Please provide the FULL log file, so we don't have to guess what happens in the other parts.

You only have 76MB of gpu mem, you need at least 256MB.

Update your system, reboot and try again. There was a bad package update on Raspbian that might cause your issues,
