Hi there,

I'm a Kodi and Sonarr user and I have noticed that Sonarr is dynamically updating tv shows poster when a new trendy/best voted one is released.
It there a way to do the same with Kodi?

Not that I know of. Currently Kodi will scrape and cache the 'active' poster for that moment, and that's it.
Only a fully clean new setup will retrieve the then/next newest posters.
