Kodi suddenly crashes on startup
#1
Here is the log:
https://paste.kodi.tv/kinamukiwe.kodi
(I pressed shift+control+d as soon as I could)

I also have a crash dmp file, but I don't know where to upload it.

This is the error in the event viewer:
event 1000:

I think it has something to do with vfs.libarchive.
I don't know what it is, but I see it has been updated today in the addons folder.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To anyone who may find help in this - I've deleted vfs.libarchive folder from the addons folder (I don't really know what this addon does), and now Kodi is working again.

Looks like you have some rar files that vfs.libarchive v1.0.5 installed didn't like. Go into add-ons/virtual file systems and try 'Archive support'.

Instead of deleting the archive, just check your Kodi cache folder for any invalid archive files:
C:\Users\Abir\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\cache

I had an incomplete rar file which was causing the same problem. I delete all files in cache folder. And it started working fine.
This vfs.libarchive plugin might be needed by other plugins. I use some subtitle plugins which use this. So I can't delete the plugin.
