Hey Folks,

currently i create a kodi addon for a friend of mine. users should be able to watch remote videos with vlc instead of the internal video player 

is there any way let kodi use a other playercorefactory.xml instead of the maybe existing playercorefactory.xml in the /userdata folder?

when i add a playercorefactory.xml to my addon, kodi ignores this, its ok i only thought it was a undocumented feature

whould be pretty cool if there is a way to "overwrite" playercorefactory.xml that kodi should use from code, is this possible?
