Renamer - support for double file extensions
#1
I have some files in each media folder (movies and series) named with 2 extensions...example...

Movie Name (1984).m4v.properties

By adding .properties to the file type list TMM will rename this file as....

Movie Name (1984).properties

...dropping the .m4v part.

I have tried adding .m4v.properties into the file types but it then totally ignores the file.

Is it possible to allow a dual extension to be included in the rename and keep BOTH extensions?

Thoughts?

Thanks

Well, no, at least not yet.
We operate only on known filetypes; and you cannot simply add these (since we do not known what to do with them).

On the other hand, if we decide to keep all those files, and simply rename along the video, this should be do-able.
Let me think a bit about it....

You do keep the file now... Its just named wrong after the rename occurs.

Thanks for considering.... I have written a PowerShell script to resolve for now.
