Option to disable creation of xbmc.log
#1
while playing mp3's from my smb share, my xbox hd will spin down once the song starts playing. at the end of the song, the hd needs to spin up again to read the next item on the playlist. this adds a playback gap of one to two seconds between every song.
it would be nice to have a large part of the playlist cached in memory so that several (if not all) songs can play consecutively.

love the xbmc!

the playlist is cached in memory.
the spin-up is because when a new song starts the log is written to which requires a hdd spin-up.

and trackinfo is read from the musicdatabase and picture is cached to/read from the hd.... just disabling logging won't stop the hd from spinning up between track changes.
