Hi, I'm an italian user of Kodi(v. 18.5 2019/11/16). When I attempt to download video from public TV by video stream extraction I'm having trouble with the use of youtube-dl Control (v. 19.912.1). Immediately after running the "Download Currently Playing Video" the extraction drops and so it looks like in the screenshot.
I really hope someone can help me get this working under Windows 7 and/or windows 10

This thread might help from the Add-on:Youtube-dl Control (wiki) and this with a common search. It's always helpful to include a link to your debug log. Perhaps a post in mentioned areas would bring other users of this add-on to pass along tips & tricks.

Make sure you manually copy the files from the youtube-dl project into the Kodi addon so you have the latest extractors.

Next step is to turn on "debug level" logging within Kodi settings and attempt to download using youtube-dl addon, then upload the resulting kodi.log file (complete file) to http://paste.kodi.tv/ so it can be reviewed for errors.

On 03/10/2020 I have performed three video download using youtube-dl addon. Results on Kodi.log uploaded to: https://paste.kodi.tv/wigoniripi.kodi

I'm not sure of the banned status of MediaSet, but for now I assume it is not banned from support here.  I looked at the URL that was attempted to download, and trying it directly into youtube-dl I got a 403 forbidden error.  So I'm not sure the extractor is working correctly.  The best advice I can give is to try to ask at https://youtube-dl.org/ to see if the extractor does work.
