Hello,

I would like to use <tvshowmatching> in my advansettings.xml to be able to scrape series that I own.

In fact I'm not naming episodes normalised and scraper can't recognize my episodes.

My collection is like this:

hardisc\series\<name of the serie>\<Season xx>\<?x?? - name of episode>\<non normalised filename.avi

exemple:
d:\series\x-files\Season 1\<1x01 - Deep Throat>\blablabla.avi

In fact I have a very large collection of series and I don't want to rename each avi, but each directory are normalised, not avi.

go right ahead. that's what it was designed for. try using search. there are plenty of threads regarding help with regexps. then try to figure it out on your own. if you cant get it to work, post what you're trying.

Doesn't the fact that he relies wholly on foldernames make the point moot?

not at all... you can match like that.
