No Other Resolution Options, other than 720p
#1
I just purchased a TEC H6 from Amazon.

While setting up Kodi, I noticed that there's no other option other than 720p.

I've checked to make sure that Android (9) settings are at 1080p.  Which this Android Box says that it will do 4k, but I don't see that option either.

I have also tried a reset and updating to the Kodi 18.6

I know that 18.7 is available, but haven't been able to find that one on the Google Play store.

The TV does confirm that it is 1080p 60Hz.

Also tried another TV and changed HDMI cable.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you in advance.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

My apologies, I'm not proficient in Kodi and Android TV boxes.  But I think I got it.

This the log that was uploaded.

No other resolution is available. Probably related to your problem -

Its a Android OS limitation.

As already posted its probably a Firmware bug or the devices Android Firmware has been deceptively coded to falsely display 1080p in Android settings to fool buyers.

I suspect you have a Rockchip RK3299 device with Firmware that does not use standard Kodi Application programming Interfaces - and this is why you are seeing these types of Kodi errors.

We do not recommend Rockchip Android devices at all for Kodi.

Solution - spend time on the Freaktab forums looking for decent Firmware

or buy something with decent Firmware from the START HERE Kodi Hardware thread.
