This feature would entail using the identical concept that exists for music artists but for video actors instead.

1.  Add additional attributes to the actor table such as bio, birth, death others?

2.  Scrape actor info from TMDB, others?

3.  Provide an infotag for actor.

4.  Provide actorinfo dialog from DialogVideoInfo.xml  Dialog could display actor details and actor videos in library.

5.  Provide for actor info folder that contains art and actor.nfo.

6.  Provide art types for actors.

Obviously not a small undertaking.  I was thinking doing an addon sort of like artist slideshow and extendedinfo, but I think it would need its own sqlite db.

That would be very progressive, I love the idea but hate the thought of having to rescan. Perhaps we could rethink how 'actors' are handled in the same fashion as in sets, a dedicated folder then keep actor meta-data in one place and called on request.
