[Linux] F-spot plugin request
#1
Hi everybody,

F-spot is the defaut photo manager in Ubuntu.

It would be cool to have a plugin in XBMC connected to the f-spot database to browse photos, like the new iphoto plugin in XBMX mac port.

It would be a enhancement in desktop integration with linux platform.

What do you think ?

I like the idea. Please post an official feature request at xbmc.org/trac to ensure that it won't get lost during the current feature freeze.

I have created a feature request n°4941.

A f-spot plugin will also allow a tag-oriented browse on photos.

Is there a chance to have new feature like this on Atlantis or are we yet on feature freeze ?

Just to add that the Elisa Media Center has a such plugin for f-spot.

Maybe it's a good idea to look at it.

I've made some research and apparently f-spot is using a sqlite database stored in ~/.gnome2/f-spot/photos.db

You can access to it thought sqlite3 commands.
