I've been searching for something like this for a while, and I can't seem to find quite what I'm looking for. So I figured I might ask. Does Kodi have anything that will allow me to stream games from another desktop, and also has controller support if I'm in a different room from the desktop? I'm basically looking to consolidate my Steam Link into my Kodi setup, since my own Steam Link has been acting up lately. I am specifically NOT trying to install Steam on Kodi - I know you can do that, but I want to use the beefy GPU in my desktop if at all possible.

Does any add-on or anything like that exist?

I personally use an NVidia Shield with Kodi installed. The games don't stream inside of Kodi per se, but I can instantly switch from Kodi to the homescreen to Steam Link / GameStream.

In 2015 I was the mentor for a GSoC project to get GameStream in Kodi via moonlight: https://github.com/kodi-game/game.moonlight however it was never fully finished and I believe the moonlight project is dead.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just discovered that I've been maintaining a moonlight libretro add-on: https://github.com/kodi-game/game.libretro.moonlight . I've never tested it but you could try getting that to work.
