Periods are used in a system wide o/s function in the list/dir command and is ignored. Try it with quotations "...E La Notte Si Tinse Di Sangue" or without the dots.. I have And God Created Women and the scraper returns ...And God Created Women.

Periods at the begging of names are considered special characters.

Unicode U+2026 horizontal ellipsis might be an alternative, though scraper might not like it.  Or in some cases using the Unicode full-width punctuation in the U+FF00 block to get around reserved characters.
