Win Kodi Atmos or DD+ pass through Denon AVR-X3000
#1
Hello there. I own a quite old (2015) Denon AVR-X3000 that’s connected using HDMI to my HTPC, running Kodi.

Most of the content that uses Dolby digital work properly, but if I try to run content that’s using Dolby Atmos it won’t decode. I’m assuming my receiver won’t handle this, but if I open the same media in VLC it will parse as DD+. Is this some VLC only feature or am I missing something? Is there an add on for this to work properly?

Regards
