[solved] How to install visualizations ?

Hello,

I'd like to set a visualization for my music, but the visualizations list is empty and i don't know how to install new ones since they are not found in the addons installer. So how am i supposed to do ?
Desktop PC x86_64
Kubuntu 23.10
Kodi 21 (flatpak) 20.2 (apt)
Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti

visualizations are binary and are compiled for the system and installed from the system such as debian https://packages.debian.org/search?keywo...n-waveform

if it's the libreelec as in your signature then their forum will be more informative such as https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/24588-...s-not-work

but you don't even mention what OS you're running or on what hardware so that's just guesswork until you provide information

I changed my signature, i 'm on another OS now.

Strangely, the visualizations are installable within the software in the flatpak version (wich i don't use anymore because of a recurring crash) and libreelec, but not the version installed from a ppa.

since it's linux mint you would install it however you install linux mint packages https://community.linuxmint.com/software...-shadertoy
assuming they provide such packages like debian does then it would be; sudo apt install X

did you install a kodi package not provided by mint?
